Wesley's CODI Retreat
CODI's mission is to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students, faculty/staff, and families in our school community. We will host our first retreat in the Social Hall on Saturday, February 4th from 10am-1pm! Please note, beginning at 9am, coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.
The morning will then officially begin at 10am with our guest speaker Ralinda Watts discussing the topic: Parenting With Identity in Mind (the workshop focuses on identity, and how identity impacts parenting, confronting our fears about talking to our children about sensitive topics in an effort to gain strategies that support raising aware, engaged, and empathic young people).
The CODI Retreat will be a wonderful time to connect with others from the Wesley community, brainstorm on how to strengthen our DEIJ work collectively, as well as a time for discussion and personal reflection. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP HERE. Please be sure to indicate if you have a dietary restriction as breakfast and lunch will be provided!
We hope to see you there!
