In this Trimester 3 class, students explore some of the history of the often misunderstood form of creative expression–street art. Students will choose from a variety of themes that are often explored through this expressive form of art. From social issues, to politics, to comedy, street art taps into the human spirit in its full expression. Artists that paved the way for this art form to be relevant will be highlighted. Students will also work in groups on a large mural outdoors to get a true street art experience.
