You're invited to Wesley's 7th Grade Play The Three Musketeers at Wesley on Thursday, March 6th and Friday, March 7th at 7pm!
It's 1625 France - D'Artagnan and his sister Sabine set off for Paris, hoping to join the ranks of the royal guardsmen, the Musketeers. They join forces with the most famous three - Athos, Porthos, Aramis, to protect the Queen of France. However, in doing so, they make themselves enemies to the most dangerous man in Europe, Cardinal Richelieu. Ken Ludwig's celebrated adaptation of the timeless swashbuckler is a tale of heroism, treachery, close escapes and above all, honor.
There is a suggested donation amount of $10 per attendee, and an option to add an additional gift towards Wesley's Performing Arts Program. Please complete this form by Wednesday, March 5th at 9pm to reserve your seats ahead of time! Seats will also be available at the door with cash or card for the donation on the night of each performance.
We can't wait to see you there!
A note to our families: We are excited to provide students the opportunity to perform a story that matches their growth as Middle Schoolers! As such, some of the language and content in The Three Musketeers may not be suitable for viewing by our youngest community members.
Please note the use of mild curse words, staged violence, and staged alcohol consumption portrayed in the play. Please also note that the production will run just under two hours and follows a more complex plot. Feel free to reach out to our Middle School Theater Teacher Julie Lanctot with specific questions regarding content and language. We are eager to provide all necessary information in order for your family to make the most informed decision possible.
