Multicultural Festival
The Committee of Diversity and Inclusivity (CODI), Wesley PA, and FUMC are excited to bring you Wesley’s Second Annual Multicultural Festival on Sunday, February 23 from 2-5pm on the Wesley Commons. With over 11 booths representing diverse countries, cultures, and identities, guests will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in traditions through activities, crafts, and small bites. This year, there will be two main cuisine options: Filipino cuisine and Soul Food with a Latin twist. Performances will include a BANTAMBA African Stilt Circus performance by the DAANSEKOU Cultural Arts Collective, a salsa dance, and a special performance from 4th graders and their Kindergarten buddies.
There are still many ways to get involved:
-
Want to chair or co-chair a booth representing your culture? Find more info and sign-up here by Friday, 1/31.
-
Sign-up to bring a dessert for the “Desserts from Around the World” booth here. This is completely optional.
-
Donate supplies from this Amazon Wish List.
The entrance fee is $5 per person and includes all food, beverages, and activities. Please RSVP by Sunday, February 16th. We look forward to embracing our diversity, fostering understanding, and reveling in the beauty of our differences (and similarities!) as we come together on this special afternoon.
