CODI Cooking Sign Up

Please join us for the first event of the year in our CODI Cooking Series: Mexican Sopes and Ponche Navideño on
Thursday, January 22 at 6:30pm
on Zoom!

This event has a suggested participation fee of $30 per meal "kit", which includes all the ingredients for a 4-person meal, recipe cards, and a fabulous Zoom cooking class! 

Sign ups will close Monday, January 19 at 9pm, and all "kits" will be ready for you on campus during afternoon carpool on Thursday, January 22 just in time for the event.

MENU


Main: Sopes, thick, round corn masa (dough) bases with pinched edges that form a shallow well or rim to hold savory toppings like beans, cheese, lettuce, and salsa.

 

Dessert: Ensalada de Manzana, a creamy and sweet fruit salad that's a staple during Christmas and New Years

 

Beverage: Poncho Navideño, a warm, spiced fruit cider enjoyed during the Christmas season
*add your favorite spiced rum to give this drink a grown-up twist!

In the spirit of fostering a communal event, we have ensured that cost is not prohibitive by offering a variety of registration options. All funds support the Wesley Community of Diversity and Inclusivity!
