Here's a special note from our host Janett Meyer:

Growing up my family always celebrates a traditional Mexican Christmas culminating in a Christmas Eve midnight toast after which the homemade tamales were served. Tamales have become a celebratory Christmas tradition and the tamale-making is a special time to gather as a family, share stories, and pass the traditions to the next generation. Please join us with your families for a virtual assembly-line party to make traditional tamales over Zoom and toast with some traditional holiday Mexican bebidas.
