We strongly recommend that you begin the admissions process by attending one of our Virtual Open House events. These are specifically planned and laid out to give you, the participant, a great look into The Wesley School. We invite you to join us online for a "tour" of our campus, including classroom snapshots and videos; to hear from students, faculty, and administrators; and to learn about the warmth, compassion, and learning environment of the Wesley community.
There will be four opportunities to attend a Virtual Open House: October 3, 2020, November 7, 2020, December 5, 2020, and January 9, 2021. Please visit the Admissions Open Houses/Tours page for more information and to register.
The Application Process
Please visit the Application Process page on the drop down menu on our Admissions link. This page will provide step-by-step instructions and an online application to complete. Contact the School's admissions office at 818-508-4717 if you have any questions.
During a typical school year, all students applying for 6th-8th grades must take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). However, we will not be requiring the ISEE test for those 6th-8th grade applicants applying for the 2021-22 school year.
During a typical school year, parents of all applicants will be called for an interview with the Head of Middle School. Students applying to middle school will attend a visit day, complete with attending classes, participating in an applicant small group discussion, learning from a Wesley student ambassador, and getting to know more about us.
However, please note that based on health and safety guidelines, as well as varying comfort levels at this point, parent interviews will most likely take place virtually. In addition, as the trajectory of the pandemic unfolds, we will adjust our visit days and overall process as necessary.
