Application Process
This page will provide you with step-by-step instructions for completing the application process to The Wesley School for your child(ren). Please pay special attention to the different requirements for the each of the grade levels. Step 1: If you have not already submitted your online Inquiry Form, please click HERE to begin the process. If you have already completed the Inquiry Form and have an account with us, please click HERE to login to our Admissions Portal using the login credentials sent to you via email, and complete your application checklist. If you don't remember your login to the Admissions Portal, use the 'Can't access your account?' link.
Step 2: You can find the following forms and information in your Application Checklist in the Admissions Portal or you can download them here by clicking on the links below.
For All applicants:
Photos
Please upload your photos in the Admissions Portal or email a recent, good quality photo of the applicant and a recent, good quality family photo to admissions@wesleyschool.org.
For Kindergarten applicants:
Teacher Evaluation Form
Please give (or email) to your child's current teacher for completion between December 1 and January 31. This form should be completed and mailed or emailed directly to the school.
For 1st through 5th Grade applicants:
Teacher Recommendation Form
Please print (or email) two copies of this form and give one to your child’s current teacher and one to your child’s teacher from last year for completion between December 1 and January 31. This form should be completed and mailed or emailed directly to the school.
Administrator Recommendation Form
Please give (or email) to your child’s current school for the Principal or Head of School to complete. Not required for students applying from public schools. This form should be completed and mailed or emailed directly to the school.
Transcript Request Form
Please fill out, sign as parent/guardian, and then give (or scan/email) to your child’s current school to be forwarded to us, along with your child's official school records. This form and the corresponding transcripts should be completed and mailed or emailed directly to the school.
For 6th Grade applicants:

For 7th through 8th Grade applicants:
English Recommendation Form
Please give (or email) to your child's current English teacher. This form should be completed and mailed or emailed directly to the school.
Math Recommendation Form
Please give (or email) to your child's current Math teacher. This form should be completed and mailed or emailed directly to the school.
Administrator Recommendation Form
Please give (or email) to your child's current school for the Principal or Head of School to complete. Not required for students applying from public schools. This form should be completed and mailed or emailed directly to the school.

Middle School Questionnaire
In addition to the list just above, please have your child complete this questionnaire in his/her own handwriting and then mail or email it to us.
Step 3: Student School Visits/Assessments and Student and Parent Interviews
During a typical school year, parents of kindergarten applicants will be contacted by the admissions office to schedule a group visit of ten students per group. These will take place between November 1 and January 31. A second, large group visit will take place in mid-February when students will come in groups of 14 to 16 students. The admissions office will contact you at the end of January to confirm this second visit. All parents will also meet with the Director of Admissions to complete their parent interview.
Parents of applicants to 1st through 5th grades will be contacted by the admissions office to schedule partial-day visits for the children. We do our best to coordinate the applicant visits and parent interviews on the same day.
Parents of middle school applicants will be contacted to schedule an applicant interview with one of our middle school teachers and a parent interview with the Middle School Head. These interviews are coordinated at the same time, and the visit includes a school tour for the applicant, given by a current middle school student.
It is our goal to make the application process as user-friendly and as non-stressful as possible. We hope to provide you numerous opportunities to get to know our school so that you may feel comfortable in your decision come March.
Admissions Decisions will be emailed on Friday, March 10, 2023.
