Abstracting the Face

Objective: Students will be able to use the diagram below to help them draw an abstract self-portrait step by step. Students should add characteristics that are unique to them. Any materials available are fine to use and students should feel encouraged to color as they wish. There is no need for natural color on this portrait as it is about abstraction. The name and month should be included in the drawing.
