Name Symmetry

Students will be able to work on a project that celebrates their name and explores design and symmetry. Students can draw their name in block or bubble letters on a paper folded in half. After cutting the name out from the folded side, students can add symmetrical pattern and design using markers or colored pencils. As an extension, students will write what their name means to them or can share a short story about their name.
