The mission of the Athletic Program is to prepare each student athlete to practice good sportsmanship, including fair play, integrity, and observance of rules. The goal of the athletic program is to provide a stimulating environment conducive to the athlete's total development through a well-rounded program that stresses and values the student first, while developing the athlete second. We believe these factors, combined, translate into a successful individual on and off the athletic field.
The Wesley School is a member of both the San Fernando Valley Private School League and the Junior Delphic League. We participate in interscholastic team and individual competitions in both leagues. The school offers three seasons of athletic competitions for boys and girls in the fourth through eighth grades. There is a no-cut policy. Generally speaking, teams expect to practice and play games three days per week.
